The National AIDS Control Council (NACC) was established under Section 3 of the State Corporations Act Cap 446 through the National AIDS Control Council Order, 1999 published vide Legal Notice No. 170 of 1999. NACC is a non-commercial organization whose mission is to: “Provide policy and a Strategic framework for mobilizing and coordinating resources for the prevention of HIV transmission and provision of care and support to the infected and affected people in Kenya”. The overriding mandate of National AIDS Control Council (NACC) is to coordinate stakeholders in the multisectoral response to HIV and AIDS in Kenya. To realize this mandate, NACC has developed this Service Charter to communicate its commitment to provide quality services to all stakeholders. The Charter provides information to stakeholders on what service they can expect from NACC and what they can do to help NACC serve them better.
