This was part of the key recommendations from the 2019/2020 Motion Tracker Presentation/Stakeholders Meeting, AHBN convened a 2-day high-level advocacy retreat with NHIS, Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) and the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) to promote the inclusion of FP commodities in the NHIS benefit package of social insurance. In principle, the NHIS has pledged to add FP services in the benefit package of the NHIS. We have developed a draft MoU with NHIS that will guide the strategic advocacy and partnership.
