The Motion Tracker team participated and supported a meeting convened by the National Council for Population and Development on 28th January 2021. The panel constituted Director General National Council for Population and Development, Technical Director, UNFPA Country Representative, UN Resident Coordinator ad interim, CS, Education, CS, Health, CS, Labor & Social protection, MOH, development partners and civil society organizations. The aim of the meeting was to share the Progress on ICPD25 Commitments and Implementation, launch of the ICPD25 First Year Progress Report and other related documents. From the presentation it was agreed that a multisectoral approach is the best way to ensure the achievement of the Kenya commitments and a tool to be established to track the same. Information shared from the meeting will be applied in ensuring TMT indicators being tracked for Family planning are aligned to the commitments.
