Kenya through National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) convened a virtual Family Planning Advocacy stakeholder meeting on 21st April 2021. The objective of this meeting was to share the 4th quarter 2020 Motion Tracker monitoring of FP2020 commitments and also share the family planning 2030 roadmap with stakeholders. From the plenary discussions, the stakeholders brought out challenges experienced during the data collection process which included; lack of common understanding of the commitments, low response rate among partners and limited partner engagement. NCPD was tasked to share the report to stakeholders for review and shared inputs that will be incorporated before final dissemination. Over 18 CSOs and development partners were present including NCPD, MOH, UNFPA, PMA, Amref Health Africa, In supply, WHO, DSW, NAYA, COG, JHPIEGO, Options Consultancy, PS Kenya, PATH, Track 20 and Population Bureau.
