Health Promotion Tanzania (HDT) the local convener in May 2019 facilitated a capacity building and advocacy session with 38 legislators more precisely Members of the Parliament (Budget, Population and Development Committees) where the FP2020 commitments were re-explained helping them understand better their role in advancing the agenda of RMNCAH+N commitments at the National Assembly. The Legislators pledged to track progress to these commitments, including pushing for increased government resources allocated and disbursed to Family Planning starting FY 2019/20.
